Job Title: Tap Room Manager

Hours: 40 hours/week

    • Wednesday-Sunday
    • Off Monday-Tuesday

Pay: Based on experience

    • Hourly plus tap room tips
    • Potential for year-end bonus (performance based)


    • Ability to work nights and weekends
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and move kegs
    • Advanced beer knowledge
    • Prior tap room experience 
    • Management experience preferred
    • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to interact professionally with staff and the public
    • Attention to detail 
    • Excellent time management skills

Job duties:

    • Uphold American Solera’s core values of Excellence, Team Work, Integrity, and Creativity
    • Bartend and manage the bar effectively
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction 
    • Manage tap room staff 
    • Interview, hire and train tap room staff and shift leaders
    • Provide performance reviews for bartenders and shift leaders
    • Address any disciplinary issues and terminate employees if needed
    • Schedule tap room shifts, cleaning shifts, and bartenders for events
    • Create and keep menus up to date
    • Keep website current draft and bottles pages up to date daily
    • Maintain item library in POS system 
    • Manage keg inventory
      • Coordinate as needed with production, sales and events managers
      • Clearly communicate keg inventory needs and back-ups to staff as needed
    • Cash management
      • Ensure adequate change is available in register and in safe as back up
      • Deposit cash to bank (minimum bi-weekly)
      • Distribute cash tips to employees weekly 
    • Update opening/closing procedures as needed and communicate to staff
    • Maintain a clean, satisfactory appearance of facilities inside and out
      • Schedule monthly deep cleaning
      • Communicate maintenance needs to owners. 
    • Complete payroll reports weekly 
    • Conduct monthly tap room meetings to provide updates and training to employees
    • Complete sales tax report monthly
    • Order and maintain adequate supplies in the tap room 
    • Order and maintain adequate supply of food/snacks in the tap room
    • Communicate merchandise needs
    • Complete inventory tasks as assigned
    • Maintain regular communication with employees via Sling
    • Plan and execute quarterly team building activities
    • Provide fun and engaging tours of the brewery to the public
    • Other duties as assigned
